Weaving for sling pouches

Although this page is extremely girly, I reckon this kind of weaving could be weaponised by braiding the pouch sides of a braided sling into the edges of a woven diamond.

Yes, that would propably work.  Even us Manly Men Smiley must make(buy?) a handloom and do as shown in this girlie page, if we want a woven pouch, I think.

Weaving pouches is ok. I´ve tried it.
But instead of using the nice wodden & nail base for weaving, I use a crude block of wood with holes drilled into it.

I have a set of round knitting looms and I use the smallest (the blue one) to make sling pouches.

they are heaps cheap and very versatile pieces of equipment.

I made a jig for jefferies 5 strand sling. Came out ok.

It comes out very nicely doesn't it?  ;)
I made one, and it is probably my personal favorite out of all the slings I have made myself.
