Dear all,

As I have said before AmdoCraft exists already for a number of years, but our webshop is new.  Like many things in China, it is difficult to guess who things turn out.  I am referring now especially to prices. We as AmdoCraft are still committed to support the Tibetan Nomads as much as we can and to price our products as reasonable as we can.  The only thing that we cannot influence at all is the price for shipping, paypal charges and other handling fees.  I have now discovered that we have to change the pricing. So I will need to charge an extra 6 US dollar handling charge per order  (not per item).  I will put this in effect from the 13th of March, so I like to give you a change to order some before the 13th if you want to.

You can now also find the location of AmdoCraft-AmdoCafe Xining in Google maps. The location in the 'map' view is accurate, in the 'satellite' view it is positioned too far east (170 mtr). http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl . After that type in: amdocraft.    Do need to have China as part of your view.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but, do you know what the Tibetan herders use to transport or hold ammo? I imagine if they are herding they would travel with ammo so do they have a certain style of bag? This is more just out of curiosity than anything else Cheesy

I double checked with two of my Tibetan friends and they confirmed my understanding. They normally do not keep a bag or pouch for ammo. They pick the rock from the ground. They said:  there are little rocks/stones everywhere.  They could potentially carry some little rocks in their Tibetan dress. They carry their money, their food and other things in their Tibetan outfit.

Amdo Craft slings are beautiful and very reasonably priced, as are their other hand made items.
