At 5500 ft. above sea level the air is thin and the sling projectiles go far!

Greetings and Welcome from Australia,

Five thousand plus feet is sure some elevation! Australia's highest mountain is only 7500 ft. (approx.) I think for me the advantages of slinging in rarified air would be totally nullified by my inability to breathe.

Colorado seems to get a mention quite often in a slinging context. Do you come from a "slinging family" yourself? If not tell us how you came to be interested in slings.
