We have more info here about slings and slinging, than Custer had Indians. We have great sites on how to make slings out of everything from grass to duct tape. Enjoy. Lots of good reading here.

Where in California are you? If you're in the L.A./Orange County area then come on out to the Koroneburg Festival in Corona http://www.koroneburg.com/riverview/ and do some slinging with us. We're at the Roman encampment at the far end of the festival site (and don't ask why 2nd century Romans are at a renaissance festival, just accept it)

That's like asking "how many survivors were there at Custers last stand?" I tell folks about 4000, all Lakota, Arapaho and Cheyenne. Grin

All you drongos have to do is find a field and agree on a date. It ain't all that hard :-)
