Greetings from New England!
Feb 6th, 2008 at 4:45pm

Hey all, just loggin in to say hi to the slinging community. I made my first sling about a year ago and began slinging in a field with my friend Ron. I'm so glad to find this site and realize that we're not the only two crazies out there in pursuit of throwing rocks really hard and fast. Anybody else from the Northeastern United States? It'd be nice to see if there's anyone else who lives within driving range.

Greetings! I see you're in Massachusetts. How's the weather?

Well, that's really only a half-truth. I live in Hanover, Massachusetts, it's a small town about halfway between Boston and Cape Cod. However, I'm currently in the Bronx, NYC for college. I guess technically I live in New York City, but I certainly wouldn't consider myself a New Yorker, since I still consider my home to be in Massachusetts. I'm not sure how the weather is there at the moment, but here it's considerably warmer than it's been in past weeks, and the sun is shining through partly cloudy skies. Not warm enough to be hanging around in just a t-shirt, but a light jacket or a sweatshirt will get the job done.

Based on this comment I question your manhood.
