Hello Everyone,
I was just talking with my grandmother who used to sling as a kid...Here is what you call a sling in her native language (Ojibway):
Webeneshkwan (Way-bi-nesh-kwan)
just thought you would like to know

Thanks, Naiyor, but it would be better if you a) wrote a complete sentence, b) said someting about the Ojibway culture (just a sentence so people understand what you are writing about, and a link to Wikipedia

) and c) brought us a few more words (sling bullet, slinger, etc.). If you really want to make all those slinging.org fans happy write a small article about the sling in the Ojibway culture. You can make an extra page here:
