For the new members - I'm compiling a dvd of slinging.org articles, pictures, galleries and video clips.

Got pretty much the layout done bar the video clips - so you've got a week to get stuff to me, or get your mate to video you slinging. It doesn't have to be stunning quality - but anything of lower resolution than 320x 240 will be discarded: ie: no mobile/cell phone video (unless it's a decent resolution)
If your camera will do it 640x480 is preferable (or any digital video from camcorders) I prefer it to be as little messed with as possible. ie: if you want to compress it to email or send via mailbigfile.com (or similiar free services) please don't go overboard. The top quality wmv or mpeg will be fine but any further compression just spoils the final rendering. Bear in mind the more times you render a clip the worse it looks :-) 

I've (probably) decided that no video clips will have names attached. A couple of the more specialist ones will ie: tints showing off and techstuff's stuffing goliath, but the rest will remain anyonymous - I'm sure you'll know who you are lol. I can get a lot more clips on one page if they don't have titles for each clip. Each clip I accept will have it's own button as well as every clip for a particular style being included in a single clip mega compilation.

Haven't decided yet on whether or not to give the video pages motion background - this also has the added effect of showing every button on the page asa live clip. Could be useful for choocing and comparison purposes. I'll see what it looks like :-) Any opinions greatly appreciated (and then ignored if they don't agree with mine ;-)

So on emore time :- If you want to be immortalised on dvd as one of the worlds few videoed slingers - get your video to me asap :-)
