Hello fellow slingers. Just a quick introduction: I started with my first sling many years ago (it was REALLY sad) and this site has been an imense help. Decided to finally join so I could ask Aussie for one of his sling pouches. I am always looking for new designs. Thanks and again I LOVE this site.

Welcome Neogeo.
I am sure that the first Mod coming along will move it for you, so no lasting harm.

Aussies sings pouches are famous by now, and I am sure that is deserved too. I do not yet have one, but might ask for one too  Wink
Terrific for tennisballs, which is as good as beginners ammo as you can get.

Welcome to the forum, Neogeo!

Don't worry about posting in General Discussion, I'm moving this to Introductions.

How long have you been slinging?

I think I made my first sling about 11 years ago. It was a piece of nylon hose and two pieces of butcher twine. Good for maybe 2-3 throws max. Like I said it was a sad first attempt. Then I found this place Smiley

Greetings Neogeo,

I have already answered your PM. I always look at my PM's first so sometimes posts double up on what I have said before. So welcome. Your and Willeke's pouches will be on their way tomorrow. With making you first sling 11 years ago you are hardly a beginner, so my usual cautions about using tennis balls at the start may be redundant. But the pouch will take just about anything other than very small stones, so I am sure you will find it satisfactory.

Regards,

Aussieslinger
