I really like how bamboo dyes well with bright colors and feels very soft and flexible. Maybe I will have to try that for my next non-paracord sling.

Linen sling.  The greasy one is wax.  😁 I wax hemp and linen.  It increases durability.

A few new slings that I finally got round to finishing. A hemp fibre balearic with hempx (polypropylene) braided into the tail+ A couple of seatbelt slings.

Trying out an Egyptian-style sling with a flat pouch.
Cords are linen, and the pouch is hemp.

Real nice slings. I haven't made any for a while now. I do have an Egyptian sling that's half finished and then I wanted to try and redo the cords for some of my previously made Egyptian slings.

Dang! Everyone is stepping up their game!@Kick @AlbionSlinger, I also want to make an Egyptian style sling. I need to make a mini loom though.

@AlbionSlinger What did you whip the end of the release cord with? Or is that sewn?

Sewn. It came undone today, but I think sewing is the best route to take for a smooth, inline finish. I think it would also work a lot better with a 4 strand braid rather than the twisted cords on this one.

Try out the twinning over sticks method. Don't need a loom then just some wooden skewers.

Quadruple fingers twisted and woven.  The material is hemp.
