Along with some slinging stuff in russian. but I don't think it's quite the same thing. i get great spin with this sling.......paper balls and regulation baseballs.
during the few moments when my techniqe is good, it nails the target hard.

these are a couple of pics of my first sling. its a modified version of Zorro's medical tape design. made of 2.25 inch medical tape of course some tread and two pieces of nylon rope(# 15 i think????) with a total of about 72 inches (183cm). it has a tripple split design. i'm not sure how much longer it will last. as soon as i get my other slings made i will retire it Sad

i'm in the process of the last steps of my second sling and in the planning of my third. i've been thinking about the hand woven split-pouch design Grin

Hurrigate, IMHO it's all about the slings performance and not about how it actually looks. My favorite sling before I retired it was made from old leather bootlaces and a piece out of another old boot..

but your sling is a nice basic model that should do everything you ask of it

Hey bcerus,
Once I got my ammuntion issue straightened out, I started using Landscape Marble Chunks, Eventually went to Landscape River rock, they seem to fly better.

No Problem.
This way you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Until I figured out it was the weight of the ammunition Slinging was a very frustrating experience for me
