I'm really liking colourful slings recently. I need to make some more with some good contrasting colours.

Low elasticity wool with leather pouch, and a nylon tassel.

Don't know if I'm a fan of the blue, but using up what's left of it.

That's a really nice sling. How is the tassel attached?

Cheers. The wool parts have been steamed while stretched, which permanently removes the wool's perceivable elasticity.

Thanks. The strands to make the tassel are slipped into the 'loop' that is created at the beginning of the 2 strand braid.
Hopefully this makes sense.

I made this sling out of some old plastic cordage I found. For the pouch I used some cheap fake paracord. It has 5 strands in the pouch and resembles a PJ sling but it has no knots on or near the pouch, it's simply spliced. Knots on the pouch with this cord would be impossible as they would be too big and impede the projectile upon release. It took less than 30 minutes to make. Splicing it creates a very nice flat pouch. The weave has no solid cup to it by default as I like it. It is quite a large pouch and holds tennisballs very well. The sling is short, with a 45 cm retention cord.  I like short slings because I can use them more effectively in my area that is full of obstructions and short slings work better with my preferred Greek style. This sling feels extremely durable.
