Roughed out this sling with Yucca fibers. There is a spot I messed up the braid, so i'm not sure how long it will last.

A couple new all jute (black and undyed) slings made over the christmas period.

A 33'' rockman and a 38'' woven pouch. Not tested yet so will have to report back on performance. Both of them were made so that no cords were introduced or cut in the pouch which was particularly challenging with the 38''er.

After I finished the yucca sling I threw together this one using Paleoarts tutorial. This is made with jute, horsehide, and antler.

I'm always amazed at what people can put together. Amazing slings!

Absolute newbie here, been lurking on the tutorials for a couple months and thought I would share my progress with you all. Left to right is a chronological timeline of my slings. Ive exclusively been using paracord so far:
Simple leather cup sling
An experimental triple split pouch
An mexican style sling (thanks dave morningstar for your tutorials)
A balearic inspired split pouch (finished an hour ago)

They look great! Might want to resize the pictures though. Pictures always end up huge on here.

I'm loving all the recent sling pictures.  Everything is looking great.  I just finished another one.  After seeing images of slings with asymmetrical pouches, it's something I've been wanting to try.

This one has a diamond pouch like I normally use for braided slings, but one side is lengthened giving it more of a kite shape.

I only have a couple throws with it at this point, so don't really have an opinion on it yet.

More slinging ice balls with the shorter Tibetan sling on a really beautiful snowy day.

@ Joe, Knew who made that sling before I saw your name attached to the post. Really like your slings, but if you reversed the kite end for end I think the sling would release the projectile a little sooner. Just saying  Wink
