Wow, those natural cords really bring it to life! The finger loop will feel even better once you break it in. Happy slinging!

Nothing shows you care like Cthulhu.

Looks good. All of Flint's slings look good for that matter.

Nice sling! But what’s with the creepy face on the wall?  Shocked

Thank you - it throws great!  Working on my second attempt.  They are a lot of fun to make.

The creepy face relates to a research project.  Try a Google search with "The Coney Island Funny Face" "Asbury Park Tillie" and "Alfred E. Neuman."

The face also makes a great target.

@jaegoor that is amazing, stunning.  Have you made any of your silk slings recently?

Beautiful work Jaegoor. Is the tab historically accurate? I imagine one would have to have something like a tab or a knot to sling with such thin cords.

Wow! Impressive.

Here is another one of my efforts, without the scary face.

Blue Raja, that looks awesome! Does the loom help cut down on time? Also, what type of cordage is that?

Flint -

Thank you for the compliment.  The loom cuts the weaving time substantially.  The warp is jute twine and the weft is acrylic yarn. Before I cut the sling off the loom, I gather the jute twine around the paracord release and retention cords and bind it with the knots that you use to make a paracord or jute bracelet (there is a good explanation here: http://www.madebyhippies.com/hemp/howtotiehempjewelry.html)

Morphy . Leider gibt es keine historische Vorlage.  Dieser Tab wird von mir bevorzugt . Die Methode der Herstellung ist jedoch historisch.
