Snip
I was looking at your slings around a week or two ago on etsy, comparing the prices on slings. You make some awesome slings and your reviewers reflect that.
I might enter the market once I have made a few Andean-style huaraca slings. I'm thinking that a price of $60-80 AUD per sling would be my rough price range.
At the very least, I likely won't be that competitive to you. I only want to sell one of my slings so that I can buy more Alpaca wool. (The shipping cost for Australians is ridiculous!)
Thanks, I find its getting a but harder, with the recent market flood of slings. More and more people are making and selling em. But I noticed those people are selling it for the money, thinking there are easy to.make. I have even found out with the 'paracord' slimgs. Mostly. Those are of low quality braiding and weaving. Since most of the time, you can see that in alot of the pictures. I spent a long time in customer service, do I know how to handle those situations. But i.make do. I live very cheaply, abd I am getting ready to move to another state, where the cost of living, is alot cheaper more then 1/2 less then where I currently am at. I have only made 2 price changes since I started. But only after some major events that happened. 1 was when I git the pieces in the museum, abd another when I partnered up with a primitive living skills survival school. But I also only do Natural materials anymore. At some point, when I get the time to braid the kumihimo atyle, I wull be adding those as well. I actually have a few slings in Australia.
