Nice looking sling. It seems like a lot of people use flat braids. Have you noticed any advantage to them?

Morphy, I think flat braiding is easier than round and in order for pouch straps to work side by side (not over lapped) like on a balearic sling, at least that part of the sling would have to be flat braided.

Hubert, that is a very nice sling! It looks like it has more substance (thicker and heavier) than some of the slings you have posted. Did you braid it free hand or use a braiding box (marudai?)

Second go at a Balearic sling, very happy how it turned out, 26.5 inches, took it to the beach today where there is a goldmine of round pebbles, slings well. used less string to compensate for the extra weight of adding leather.

Great looking sling. I second the comment about the sling stones. I'm jealous.

Those stones look basically perfect. I have maybe one or two that are that good. I'm always chasing after them into the bushes because I REALLY don't want to lose them.

Theres a lot of Ovoid ones in there that you arent seeing but i think they fly just fine i cant tell the difference, theres this one beach and none otheres like it that i know of thats just a big pile of round stones  that carpet above the high tide mark for a hundred meters or so haha a slingers honey hole, though obviously the majority arent suitable its still easy to spot all the ones your looking for. Gonna make regular trips to stock up
