Coming back from about a couple years break, Heres one i made up with some spare really inconsistent cheap hemp cordage from nepal, and i bought some better hemp and dacron and hopefully will make my main go-to sling Smiley Cool

Made this sling from the tutorial in the forums, hard work first time using 5 strand braid, 27inches long! Has a Dacron reinforced tip for no reason and love it, much heavier than my normal slings Tongue

I just got the material from a local crafts store, not cheap cost $20 of materials to make the hemp one, tried it out at the beach and feels great but my slinging am is weak after a long time not doing it

Hemp is not all that inexpensive. I have very close to seven dollars in hemp cord in every one of my hemp slings.. Add at least five hours of braiding.

Even cheap hemp is fairly costly when making slings. Never found a source for quality hemp fiber.

Ahh, well look at that. It does exist. I was starting to think hemp fiber was a myth. And just as I would have expected it is fairly expensive
I will have to keep this in mind when I make my next primitive bow. Thank you sir.   Smiley
