This is a larger paracord sling. The release and retention cords are a round braid. Its a little too stiff for light projectiles but catapults the larger ones.  Smiley

Looking good, Ryan! You are well on your way to reproducing every sling known by human-kind.

Hi All,
I got a new little sling creation I wanna share with you!
This was the product of me fiddling around with reef knots and cat's paw knots.
This is a very very extended cat's paw knot.
I also am curious if anybody has already made a sling like this!!! If not, then I would like to name it the Cat's paw sling!
I'll probably make a more refined model soon but I had to share the concept
With you. It's easy and tight and took about ten minutes tops and that was the first time with all the fiddling

Sorry about the sizing, I have a different phone than I used to and I am not up to date with it yet
Can anybody see a way to tie it off better of any improvements?

I usually just use a simple overhand knot, cut the leftover short and burn the end so it melts into a little nub that can't be pulled through.

Ten minutes to make a sling?! I would wrap and burn the end. That will take another ten anyway Smiley
