York sling with synthetic cords, leather pouch and orange jute for the protection whippings.
Synthetic cords split pouch sling with rubberized pouch (liquid rubber on the inside of the pouch). The yellow / red part is wrapped around the palm instead of using a finger loop.
#3 is a quick made, ugly looking, but very good performing and versatile cradle sling. The cords used for the pouch attachment are gutted (i.e. empty) paracord.

Peruvian style sling made of felting wool (here still unfinished before the felting). Not as beautiful as e.g. Hubert´s or cava`s slings, but sufficient for my braiding skills (the most complicated round braid I´m able to do is with 8, but mostly - also here - I use the 4 strand / group braid). The whole cords have a core, so the stretch is zero.
Today I´ll wash it at 40°C, so let´s see how much it will shrink. Folded length at the moment is 101 cm.

Yes, the sling is wool only. I already washed it at 40°C, then at 60°C, but there`s almost no felting. No shrinking of the cords, too.

Nice slinging man. Personally, I find if I make my fig.8 a little more sidearm like I can control the height better. Might be something for you to try to see if you like it. I have a similar video that I took months ago I just haven't edited it yet. I'll post it soon.

It has been awhile since I posted some of my own work but here are some of my slings I've made fairly recently. Most of them are from tarred bank line.
The First picture contains a couple bank line Tut slings and a split pouch where I finger wove the split instead of braiding. The second picture is a tut made from white mason line and tarred bank line (one of my better looking slings) and the sling below that is my favorite EDC sling which has a four strand round braid and a Balearic inspired 5 strand braid split pouch.

My Tennis ball sling. Made out of only 4 hemp strings as I wanted to keep it lighter than the ammo. I had trouble braiding the release cord straight (because it's very thin I suppose) so it actually twists up a little. Other than that I'm pretty happy with it.
