Excellent slings Hubert. I especially like the ones that wider in the middle of the pouch and tapered more near the ends.

curved, oval are the recently also favourite to me...they have turned out as very sure and very computable what makes easier the sighting very much.

I should add that I am following jaegoor's photos, which is different than your recent ones. But I think you did one similar before? Maybe your attachment of cords was different then, also. Keep it up! Your work is inspiring.

For the most, they are not as beautiful that others you can find here, but they do have a big + for them.

...

They are mines :p

There is 2 sisal, 2 knitted cotton, 2 AussiePouches, one with cotton cords and the other with shoelaces, one with an historicaly accurate wowen band (100% wool), one with synthetic cord and fluffy yarn and the last one I made for some contest Wink

Impressive arsenal, Caldou. I recognize that rockman from the yarn contest! Some of those lighter-colored pouches look like they have nice cupping worked into them.

Nice photos, Rockman. That first shot makes me hope it was a dry fire, or you were behind some lexan. "Downrange!"

You reminded me that this thread is for pictures of slinging, and not just slings. And that have just such pictures from my Thanksgiving week holiday from cloudy cold Portland to the (sometimes) sunny coast of Alabama. Some of you may recall my thread on taking slings onto a plane in carry-on bags - I wasn't sure what was ok, or what might be at least the sacrifice of a lot of handiwork.  It all worked out just fine, and I was able to bring quite a few slings to the beach, where my daughter and I met up with many family members and introduced several of them to slinging for the first time. And what says "Thanksgiving" more than white, sandy beaches and slinging?
Here's a few shots:

Cameron generating inertia, to Apache-launch his stone to the Yucatan.
...

Tyler releases, while Scottie and Dakota scan the white sand for their white ammo.
...

Dakota lets one off.

...

Scottie lets fly.
...

Hannah, showing the boys how it's done.
...

It looks good, and could have been made in pre-colonial times Smiley

I have a little project going on with the same kind of braid, I doubt I`ll get it ready until next year Cheesy

I've posted some of my slings in the introduction section, but someone recommended that I post to this thread as well.

Here's a paracord sling I made recently.
