Twisting the other way, you say. Hmm, how to solve that. If you hold the same side of the sling up when you braid the two halves, and braid even and firm, but not wery hard, it SHOULD go well. Practice is the secret.
To come up with my favorite, sew- on leather pouch, I just tested, thought, experimented, AND studied all the pictures in this forum to get ideas. Easy as that.
Back on page 10 in this tread is a picture of my first sewn-on pouch. Wery differeny, but works still
In the beginning, I used waxed linen sewing twine, but later it is the same hemp as the sling itself. I thinks it loocs cool
