 You made me a sling!  Wow, it looks really awesome, I was just looking up the cobra style ones on here a little while back.  I'm assuming that was the one you were talking about sending me a while back.  If you want to keep it or anything don't worry about it, it must cost a bit to ship a sling and all.  But it looks really great, and I would love to try it out.  Maybe in the future I can send you one too, after the SITH exchange anyway, gotta shell out about 15$ for the shipping there...

Thanks for the kind remarks Ratman. I´ve tried the leather sling a couple of times now.  
I like it, the absence of a fingerloop takes a while to get used to, but it´s a solid design.  
I have more leather, I´ll make sure to put a fingerloop this time.

Here's three new slings that I made.  The first is as much a training exercise as anything else.  It's difficult to weave very small slings with curly, miserable sisal.  This is a seven strand sheep shank acorn launcher.  Usually the kids grab these tiny slings up as fast as I can make them, which isn't very fast at all:
