Looks like a good idea keeps reinventing itself over the ages. I'm making mine out of dark blue wool with a canvas lining.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Ulrica,

I found some information about bags, including pictures; here is the list of links:

photo of WhipArtist's bag

photos of JeffH's bag

instructions for making a herrentasche (gentleman's bag)

Another pattern for the same kind of bag

The last two links are courtesy of Dravonk.  Anweisungen auf deutsch, but the pictures are international Cheesy

My apologies for the poor German... it's been many years since I studied it.

Thank you Dale, those pics of JeffH´s bag where exactly was I was looking for. That´s the bag I have. It works fine and look good. Place for at least 10-15 nice stones.

I have no problems with german, I can read, write and talk that language quite good.

Ulrika,
When you have the picture in your computer you can attach it to a post.
Just look under where you type, there is a bar Attach.
It even allows you to search in your computer to find it.

There are at least 3 threads on bags for ammo, maybe more, but I could only find those that are not very usefull.
But worth searching the forum.

Willeke

Thanks Willeke. I will try to remember it when I need it. Now there was photos already.
