depends what I'm aiming at - I can hit a decent sized wood at 200 yards :-)

It's kind of trick question (yep even for tint) if there is anyone who can hit a target further away better than a near one - then they probably need a new glasses prescription.
It HAS to be easier to hit if it's nearer - by definition it's a bigger target and you can sling softer. :-)

I put "10," but I'm best when I'm close enough to hold the rock in my hand and hammer the target with it.

I mostly go for distance when I sling so i am used to aiming to shoot upwards. If I have to hit a target that is closer than 50m, then I'll have to change the angle of release. But at 50m i can still shoot up and change the distance by adjusting the power of the throw which I think is easier.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Best accuracy range with a sling?...Arms length. So I don't have to release the projectile....just wack target with it still in the cradle.
