I'm pleased to announce there have been a number of additions to slinging.org.
1) Four new articles have been posted:
- The Sling in Medieval Europe - Chris Harrison (my recently published article)
- David's Sling: A Piece of History - Ludwik Siedlecki
- Humble Beginnings - Andrew Hanke
- The Chumash Sling - Paul Campbell
If you haven't taken a look in a while, you should certainly revisit the articles page:
http://slinging.org/articles.html2) The forum has regained it's links (look above). You can access:
- The slinging.org chat room
- The world map of forum slingers
- A short description on how to post large files
- The slinging.org hall of fame
- and how to email me.
3) The ranges page has been updated with a few new entries
4) The textual resources page has been greatly expanded thanks to winkleried and Slingbadger.
5) A Hall of Fame has been established to recognize those who have graciously served the site. A new title, Slinging.org Fellow, will not be bestowed on those who go above and beyond to advance the sport. (link at top of page)
6) Two Slinging.org Fellows have been selected for their outstanding achievements - Yurek and Matthias. These two gentlemen have not only served as Moderators, but also contributed tremendous knowledge and expertise to the field. I hope everyone will join me in congratulating them!
7) In a few weeks, the forum will see some new moderators.
8) The slinging.org wiki is growing as well thanks to the hard work of some dedicated members, especially nightweave (others let yourselves be known!). Check it out:
