That's excellent! Exactly what I what it is designed for. It will take up to tennis ball size not larger. They sometimes slip out and you will get a flyer.

How do you measure the 5'? Do you mean overall length or loop to centre? If so that is one long sling! Especially as the video of you shows a fairly short sling.

Now we have o see how it stands up to being folded in half and kept in my back pocket on a permanent basis :-)

In service it goes around small rollers and is subject to literally millions of direction reversals. Even then it is usually replaced because it gets shiny and smooth not because it breaks. If it gets dirty you can wash it too.
