JUST PLACE YOUR ORDER AND I WILL SEND YOU ONE OF MY SLING POUCHES - FREE.

This offer is open to all but I really hope some of you new to the sport take it up andSAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION AND DISAPPOINTMENT OF SLINGING WITH POOR EQUIPMENT.

The pouch will take all sizes, from golf ball to tennis ball size. Round ammunition will self-centre in the pouch and not fall out accidentally. The synthetic material is extremely strong and will (hopefully) never wear out.

All you will have to do is attach your own release cords through the holes provided. I don't supply cords because everyone needs a different length and cord is readily available. Just refer to Chris Harrison's article on making a simple sling. Only you won't have to make a pouch.

I think you'll find most people on this forum will want to send you something in return anyway.

Don't know about lots of people in america. So far my 3 trades involve, hong kong, lithuania and checkisslovakia (choose your own spelling) - no yanks yet :-)

Hi Aardvark,

I too am curious, about computers. Most things about them are still a mystery to me. One of those mysteries is how to get a nice picture out of my daughter's camera and into this posting. I will try to get her to do this for me. (You see, I was born BC, that is before computers.)

In the mean time imagine two pieces of 1" wide belting, laid on top of each other and pinned near the ends. Now slide the belts apart in the middle until a small gap appears between them. This will cause the belts to take on a boat like shape, but with no bottom. Now glue and stitch the belts so they stay in that shape and there you have it. It is actually a form of split pouch, but not braided.

If you are still "Curious" send me your address and I will send you one too! It's nothing fancy, but good and very durable. I think you will like it.

The thing about trading is that a "trade" should be of equal value. This is often difficult to achieve. If someone wants to send me a gift then I will accept it gladly but it should not be seen as payment or an obligation of any kind.

And the slings are working perfectly for me, so thanks again. The only problem with posting up pics is that I don't have a camera or scanner, but I'll ask around my mates. Should be ok (fingers crossed!), just might take a few days.
