OK, I guess you've got a point there.  Smiley I didn't realise what I was saying.  Roll Eyes Dale guessed correctly; I was talking about the type of sling, rather than what it actually is... The sling minus the pouch is only two laces because one wasn't long enough, and I guess I was thinking of the lace woven through the pouch as just being an addition to a one string sling.

So really, it's a two string one string sling with an extra string stuck in there somewhere to confuse people a little more for good measure.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

My very first sling was of this "one-string-sling" type, with a second string woven pouch.
It has lasted me a very long time, and is still my most reliable sling (after some patching up).
