looking forward to see them

Congrats on your first braided sling. What kind of braid did you use and what type of pouch. I've been using rainy days to pump out quite a few nice slings recently.
Post pics when you can.
Ciao

Ask not what you can do for your sling... But what your sling can do to an armored knight on horseback at over 50 yards!

Thats it! Fly line! it would be amazing for braided slings, it is easily whipped around and it is very very light and strong and doesn't stretch much. it may be a bit more costly than other materials, however i think 5 bucks for 50foot would be worth a good sling or two.

Indeed, it is Matthias who made the whip-sling.

that is the sling i was thinking of when i saw the pics. yes he intended to create a sling that would have a consistent crack every sling. i have developed a sort of overhand with wich i can get a pretty consistent crack with my sling, but that is for another time.
sorry i didn't respond sooner, i have been busy with school work for the past couple of days

The original whip-sling movie
... no more putfile hassle.
Fun sling. It works the same as a normal one, and feels pretty good. In this one the release point is at the fold where the popper attaches, which works well but is a bit tricky.

Matthias,
Thank you for making that video available again. I was quite disappointed when it disappeared from PutFile.com. Glad to see it is now hosted on Slinging.org.

Nice slings boneaxe - I like how smoothly you transitioned from the cords to the split pouch.

8) It actually was much more a sling than a whip... pretty bog-standard four strand braid, the only real difference being the taper. It would be
very
easy to modify one of the nice cored peruvian designs to incorporate the changes needed to make a very consistent cracking (and I mean
cracking
) sling.
