Close to Logan, Utah?
Jan 7th, 2005 at 4:29pm

Rather then go through the pages of the

"where you live"

thread, I'll just ask it here.

Is anybody out there close to Logan, Utah.

I personally know of eight people here besides me who enjoy making slings and throwing rocks.

What kind of throw style do you guys use?

All my family up here throw the same way.

By the way, I have a brother attending BYU down in Provo right now.  He enjoys slinging too.  He can throw pretty far because of his height (6'6") and reach.

He also has this spinning throw where he starts backwards which he uses to skip rocks across lakes with his sling.

Yup, I'm down here at the Y as well. I know there are a few slingers around here, the key is to ferret them out.

BTW, this is my slinging style: http://www.slinging.org/forum2/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=1;action=display;num=10819155...

There is a video of it.
