I found out that sometimes my favorite sling had problems releasing
the stones if they where not of a round and smoth shape.
I then opened up the knots on the pouch and instead
sewn them. Now the stones are releasing easyer from the pouch.
Earlyer I have had problems with the stones releasing way to late and the stones where going far of to the left. When this hapend it felt like my finger was geting riped of. Shocked
I have not had this kind of problems with my braided slings.
Does anybody have similar experience?

rebel, the reason you don't have that problem with your braided slings is because there is no joint between the pouch and the cords, instead it is a smooth ride for the stone.  some suggestions that i have for your knotted slings is to find  a knot that you can make smoother or lower profile on the side that the stone goes on.  i find that the fig 8 knot shown in the article that chris wrote can be tied so that it has a low profile on one side.

Thanks Siguy.
I will try this knot.
I prefere to use string w/knot and leather pouch over braided slings.
The braided slings are more stif in the cords and I find them harder to use than the other type.
If I use braided slings it is only for the touch of history.
The only kind of throw I can use with braided slings are apache and underhand throw. All other kinds of throw feels slow and unnatural. This I think is because of the thiker/stifer cords.

i made some slings that are alot like the one i chris's article.  i have found that they are alot less stable for me and dumping the ammo alot.  my braided slings are alot more stable for me.
