Just an idea

I have been wanting to try an idea. I have been want to sew wide rubber bands into the pocket of a sling to see if it will hold ammo better, maybe this will make the balearic slings work better too. Or maybe just wrap the pocket braids in wide rubber bands, maybe in a whip braid.

I am working on a project now that is totally opposite of that
I was thinking more along the lines of creating a textured glande, that it will easier hold to the sling untill release.
now if I made grooves that were spiraled it may stabilize more efficiently (spin) without creating more drag. Who knows?

No worries will do.
anyone care to be the test dummy?... er flight technician hmmm...
Just curious about the spin, clockwise or counter clockwise? No need to having it go against the flow.

My technique is still crap due to a lack of experience, skill, and shoulder issues, no breaking world records here, but its sort of fun to maybe come up with new designs for others to use.

Kold,
at some hardware stores here they sell a rubber dip for tool handles, I imagine with a couple of holes in the sling or the use of a net like sling dipped in this would give you the same desired effect.
