Sorry to interrupt, but there is already an instruction to such a sling. But in Catalan.. But there was nice pictures..
Look up  "waving my own" message #6.

I could make one from that pictures. but I made my pouch little bit too long.

The next one I tried to made, I used a 4-braid but with 12 strings. That means I made them 3x4. The pouch I made as above, with two "normal" 3-braid. I like the round cord better then the flat 3-one....  But still I´m not completely satisfied..
Öhh... did anyone understand  Embarrassed

Dan,

That is a great looking sling!  Funny, I was thinking about trying one like it the other day.  How does it hurl?

Scott, dunno yet!  I haven't tried it.   Grin

Ulrica, You are right it is the same braid. Good thing I didn't see that before, I wouldn't have done this, but now that I've started I want to finish.

These instructions will be for Slinging.org. Our own version. I'm hoping that using three colors for the triple-braid and English will make it easier for more people to understand.

I like the 'flat' braid for finger loop and sling pocket, but 'round' braid for the cords.  I understand what you mean, this is difficult to describe. I'm hoping my pictures will be worth a thousand words.  Dan
