Bumper Sticker - Only In Good Taste!

Fellow slingsters, .....what do you suppose proper text for a Slingster's bumper sticker would be?? I'm sure we agree that (we) slingsters are a high-class group, and that ONLY text in good taste could possibly be appropriate.

I like the site flag, "SLINGING - Stone Age Ballistics", but fear it doesnt tell outsiders very much about the sport; nor does it elevate it in the reader's mind.

I spose something in blue on white, with text like, "SLINGING - David's Sport Lives Today", would be OK, but this particular text seems a bit over the top to me.

Hi Foner, from your posts you sound like a great person. Sorry to confuse on the "bumper sticker". Bumper stickers are little signs, usually measuring about 4inch x 12inch, with a short motto on them. Some are commercial advertisments. Some are just funny sayings. An example is this:

Don't Mess With Dragons because you
are crunchy and delicious with catsup.

Anyway, back when cars had big bumpers on them, some people would stick these little signs on their car bumpers.

"The Balearic Islands: Home of the REAL 'Hard Rock' Cafe!"

(subsitute "ORIGINAL" for "REAL". if desired!)

or:

"David never took a knife to a rock fight!" or for historical purists: "David never took a spear to a sling fight!"

or: (Showing a slinger standing atop the carcass of some prehistoric beast)

"When the first man slang the first stone, brute force forever ceased to be the deciding factor."

or more familiar parodies such as:

"On the sixth day, God created Man. But it was the SLING (pre-dating Sam Colt by an aeon or two!) that made all men equal!"

or:

"When Guns Are EFFECTIVELY Outlawed, only slingers with shirts or shorts to tear will have bullet launchers!"
(Sorry! Couldn't resist!)

Chris, ....you said about $3ea for bumper stickers. Any idea of cost for a magnetic sign same general size as a bumper sticker? What quantity order do we have to get together? Guess I could handle it like Ben did with the Peruvian slings. Any other interest out there?? Which of these 2 options do you like best?? mgreenfield

lol. I really like the SLINGING ROCKS! Very clean, simple, and clever. I haven't found any prices on magnetic ones, but I'd assume they'd be considerably more expensive because of material and printing costs. I did see some static ones (the ones that stick on windows but don't use adhesive. Often they are see-through). They are similarly priced, but are smaller.
