There are stories. But I don't and have never witness anyone hunt with a sling.

I have read from a traveling jurnal of some bicycle rider that while he was riding across Tibet he saw a kids hunting birds in mid flight with slings.

A sling maker, James Burdine, worte on his website that a customer of his hunt regularly with a 22 inch sling.

And let's not forget Knollslinger, a member who used to be very active on this forum, not only killed a rabbit but blew it apart with a shot.
