Back when I made this, 34 years ago, I couldn't find size 3 machine chain. The links are about the same size but not bent as to lie flat on dogs neck . Sze 3 machine chain Hurts better  Grin

Mine lasted 34 years . Go for it  Cheesy

One of my favorite demos was smashing beercans filled with water . If I hit the can right it rips it in half . Watch out for ricochets. Put can on something like a string or stick Shocked

I did it by grinding on a grind stone wheel . Nowdays I'd use a lathe and then sandpaper . Square or rectangle shaped weights are pretty common . Have you heard of the book Spike and Chain ?

Heres a picture od one stenny made out of off the shelf parts.

How do I fix the picture ?

He made his out of large screws . The Threads were cut off and a slot made on each weight to recieve the chain . Roll pins were used to assemle . His chain was simular to size 3 machine chain . I'll let him explain more . Smiley
