You can find braided slings on ebay. You can contrbute 10 dollars to this sight and get one.

That is a good magazine. I Buy it just about everytime i see it. They had a sling article in it that got me into sling several years ago.

I just walked in to one place, they make leather stuff for motorcycle people, and they let me root around in their trash barrels and carry away all the scraps I wanted, for free!
