If you donated to the site and didn't get a sling, something got lost somewhere.  When did you donate?  Email me so we can sort that out!  info@slinging.org

Everyone,

As Stenny mentioned, the sling is made from leather and parachute cord.  Simple and utilitarian.  I make them and send them out.  It's based on the design I use and is essentially the same as the sling detailed in this article: http://www.slinging.org/17.html

I send out slings to encourage people to contribute to the site (like NPR, PBS, etc. does for fund raising events).  I think it's nice to receive a token of appreciation.  Plus, if people have a good sling to use, they'll stay with the sport longer.
