I heard that big steel ball bearings from wheels are very good and they are free. But,if they are round, you must use a cup pouch. Lips Sealed

Welcome Justin.
Have you been slinging, or are you new to our sport?

Ballbearings are very heavy and thus potentially lethal, so not good beginners ammo.
But from what I read here they are really well liked by the people who can get them free or cheap.

And for a sling, the tape slings will handle them well too.
Medical tape is the best, but any tape will make a sling.
Click on the next line and you see how to make one.

I haven't tried ball bearings, but white marbles are pretty good. You can ususally find them in the grass. Cheap too

I have been slinging for about a year now so I don't guess I am a beginner.  I seem to hit what I want for the most part.  Well I posted I could hit a five gallon bucket fairly well at about 20 yards.  From what I've read so far I am doing something right.  I have not tried the ball bearings but I do have some.  I have neglected using them because I only have a few.  I would think that because of their weight they would pack some punch.  I am using a cup sling so it probably won't fall out accidently.

Welcome Justin,

Careful with those ball bearings.
At my range someone was launching ball bearings into the foam targets. This got everyone all hot and bothered as you can imagine, because the broadheads would hit them and be ruined. In any case I think they would work well seing as they seem to be a common sling-Shot type of ammo.
