Hi all,

Just to let anone who's interested know that I just signed up and I'm new to slinging.

I made a sling today but it got dark before I had chance to test it, (and me), so I'm off to the beach for a couple of hours tomorrow to 'play'.

I live in Broadstairs which is in Kent in the U.K. and have a beach close by at Birchington, which has literally 'tons' of ammo to play with and the weather's keeping people indoors, so, with luck I should have the place to myself.

What is your sling like? Is it braided or made by tying/sewing strings to a pouch?

Well Guys, (And possibly Gals),

My first 'slingings' were successful.

I prefer the underarm method and my first couple of attempts went out in all directions, (just as well the beach was empty).

I stayed for about 40 minutes because it was too cold.

In answer to the query, my sling is a leather and cord pouch, but I'm probably going to 'evolve' it for better results.
