What kind of accuracy do you people have with a sling? What  range do you sling from and how long have you been slinging?

I just started slinging a few days ago. I could probably hit a meter^2 target from 10 feet away... in 5 tries  Tongue

Hey,
I am also a newbie when it comes to accuracy but I am getting better. I find that the Apache Style gives me the most accuracy at approx. 20yds. I sling at a small pyrimid of rocks that I set up and its very rewarding when the rock hits and it explodes!!!!!!!! Cheesy
I also like the a type of overhand with a single wind-up after pointing at the target this is accurate but I still need to work on it.
Hope your accuracy increases! Wink

I have most accuraccy with Weaver overhand style, hitting thick trees(like half a meter dia.) at thirty meters with uniform weight of stones.
EDIT: Oh, and I am slinging for like... three years, but I stop sometimes and begin again after several months.

I haven't been slinging for a while (50 cm snow makes it hard), so I'm really bad. At least I still have collected stones from the autum, but I can't like be practicing, just throw a stone or two.
I think in the autumn I was able to hit a half a meter tree from 10 meters.
When the snow just melts, I'll practice so that I'll be back to normal again. Smiley

In the shape, structure and position of each stone, there is recorded a small piece of history. So, slinging them, we add a bit of our history to them.
