Bandanas as Makeshift slings. (Read 1032 times)

I had an old greasy Harley bandana in the bottom of my saddlebag that when rolled up, made a fairly decent sling. A little short though. 8)

Reply #1 - Feb 20^th, 2006 at 12:10pm several years ago i tried slinging rocks with a bandana. as i recall, it didn't work well because i had no idea what i was doing. i would probably be able to make it work pretty well now though.

i just thought that the other day! i had another idea about improvised slings that was pretty good, but can't remember it now Sad

then i realized that i don't own a bandana.

just a new thought: what about a garden hose, split down the middle, trimmed to size and pressed flat? hmm, not exactly the ease of use/concealability/coolness of bandana...
