57 years old so I guess that makes me the old man of the Forum. Married 37 years to the same woman. I throw pretty much whatever I can find, lead, stones, garbage, small animals, Etc. Wink

Nope, you are still a bit short... Will you settle for "one of the old men"? Smiley

Lead can be melted on a kitchen stove, (I have done it, but it is better to do it outside, less messy too,) or a small campfire.

41, and solo, but I do have a bit of social live.

I just store the un used lead in that can till next time then remove said can with tin snips and pliers if need be.  I have about 33 years of experience melting lead heres my latest glands  molded with green sand the  core impresion was done with a bank sinker i modified

i have found a place that sells round ball molds the two sizes i see that would be best for slinging are .80"  and 1.73"/44mm (golfball)  wich would you all go with  keep in mind this will be solid lead

Hi,
never used anything else but stones so far. I prefer stones of about golf ball size now so if I was to use lead shot I would go for the smaller caliber.
