Willeke, your right, i was overtightening the strands. and heavy duty plastic, such as the plastic used for ground clothes for painters, works soooo much better! Grin sorry i can't get digital pictures up i lost my cord for the camera, i think it looks great and has a nice feel but not as smooth as the original grocery bags.

Well here is a newly created sling made out of walmart plastic bags. It took i think 8 bags to make (around there if I remember correctly).

The thing that is different about this sling is that I crocheted it Tongue  I am never goin to attempt that again tho... that is way too tedious... BLAH  never say never.. i prolly will Tongue

What ya guys think? Its about 21 inches long folded.

WoW. I wouldn't have the patience to do that. It looks like it's very strong, as long as you don't sling rough rocks that is  Tongue. Well, hows it sling?? Nice work.

it slings really nice, it holds the rok very easily and i am definately enjoyng it... Just took too long to make so if it breaks, oh well Tongue

If it breaks, you can just replace to damaged part  Cheesy
I like its looks, happy slinging with it.
