Slinging darts

Sorry if this has been discussed earlier somewhere, but I didn't see anything about this using the "search" function.

I was browsing through the Wiki site and saw the picture that Johhny(?) posted in the Greek page. I'd really like to experment with one of these. In the meantime, I'm interested in hearing if anyone has had experience with this type of slinging, and/or any suggestions.
