You really have to wonder how maneuverable a sleigh filled with several tonnes of toys and a rather hirsute man really is, even if it is pulled by 8 magical caribou.  I mean, could it dodge stone age anti-aircraft fire? And why do I get the feeling that even considering the act of slinging at Santa is going to mean every christmas after this one is going to be presentless? On the bright side, if the old man gives me coal, it's just more ammo! I've slung coal chunks before, and so help me, I'll do it again!

My mom all but refuses to go in my room any more because of the incessant messiness and the amount of primitive weapons. At any given point in the room you're never more than about 2 metres away from a primitive tool or weapon of some variety. Usually the sharp and pointy or blunt and heavy kind.

Hand plane or mechanical (power) planer?

Ever see the hand planes by
Lie-Nielsen Toolworks
?
Beautiful tools, but kinda pricey.  I've got a #7 jointer, #5 Jack, scrub plane and a low angle hand plane.
