Glue for Composite Bows
Dec 14th, 2005 at 4:45pm

Any of you out there make composite bows? I'm not *actually* making one, but instead wish to put another peice of wood at the handle of a normal board bow so as to make it fit the hand a bit better. What kind of glue do you recommend?

Some good epoxy would work fine. Its generally about 2.50 or so for a small container of it. Hey, why dont you buy epoxy putty, and put it on the bow handle, wear rubber gloves, and perfectly form fit it to your hand! Would work just fine, I do that with knife handles.

You can also try hide or rabbit glue. Its been used for that purpose for thousands of years.
