I just started slinging thanks to this website and the people posting here. Made a sling from Malik Lund's article- Making a simple string sling. For ammo I am using my kids soccer ball (#1 official size and weight), it is about 5" in diameter. I am accurate to within 3 feet of what I am aiming at. Well time will tell on any improvements to accuracy. I look forward to reading more articles on slinging. Thanks- Michael

Soon I will graduate to other types, sizes and weights of ammo. I also plan on experimenting with different sling designs and sizes.

I can easily palm the ball as would most people. The target for now is the front of my garage(wood), as there is no damage unless I switch ammo of course.
