i dont know where your at but have you ever seen morning glorys? when they die they all dry out, and make great tinder, after you get the open flame add some small sticks, and well you know the rest. also you can use tow linnen.

i have never tryed to catch anything powdery on fire, i would think that it would not be abel to get enough air, into it but next time i get some saw dust or something i will take a shot at it.

Morning glory seeds are also hallucinogenic but they make you very sick afterwards. Cheesy

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

What I ususally use for tinder is sisal or hemp rope. I get pieces and literally shred them into a real fine consistency. If it isn't,  then air cant get to the spark. I have tried it with dryer lint, but don't care for it. The problem is that you get polyester fibers in there, and they really don't burn well.
