Aerodynamic objects to sling.

As so many have talked about using stones as round as possible has anyone tried using golf balls? They are designed to go through the air at high speed. I am a golfer who is looking to learn something new during the cold winter days and slinging sounds like fun. I have made my first sling and am working with it now.

Why not just use golf balls? They're cheap, and easy to get.

I remember several stories from people going to driving ranges and talking with the owner, explaning and showing the sling and being allowed to sling. One even for free if he was willing to get the balls from the ground at the end of the range.
Search for 'gollfballs' and 'driving range' and play with the amount of days and see what you can find.

I don't know of any specific links. You'll need to hunt around on google for "golf cross ball"
