Aerodynamic objects to sling. (Read 3179 times)

Bluethunder Guest	Aerodynamic objects to sling. Nov 15^th, 2005 at 8:45pm As so many have talked about using stones as round as possible has anyone tried using golf balls? They are designed to go through the air at high speed. I am a golfer who is looking to learn something new during the cold winter days and slinging sounds like fun. I have made my first sling and am working with it now.

I remember several stories from people going to driving ranges and talking with the owner, explaning and showing the sling and being allowed to sling. One even for free if he was willing to get the balls from the ground at the end of the range.

Search for 'gollfballs' and 'driving range' and play with the amount of days and see what you can find.

It has targets that make it look like giant skeet ball range Only draw back here is i get spectaors even sometimes from the road.
