Quote:The following is not an invitation to debate here in the forum. But is merely the sharing of personal viewpoint on an important matter. I welcome sincere discussion via private message.
Evolution, at least the kind foisted on unwitting and impressionable school children of all ages, is an absurd notion on it's face.
Considering the nature of this bold notion....this confidence trick.....this groaning, swaying tower of pseudo intelligentsia, incites a self examination into the inherent weakness of imperfect mankind. Insofar as his zeal for lazily handing over his higher thought processes to be programmed by another.
I daresay there exists, for the truthseeker, more evidence supporting God's creation according to kind, with an appreciable range of adaptation within kind, than for Darwin's damnable folly....predicated upon such an unlikely and equally unprovable string of 'coincidences' as to beg a most sorrowful and sobering kind of incredulity. And the 'writing is on the wall' so to speak. The wall of every tissue of every being on the planet.
The idea of 'self organization', basically the self creation and programming of one's genetic code in some kind of defacto gestalt......an astronomically unlikely string of contiguous coincidences......is an absolute requirement (in evolutionary 'theory') for life to have started and maintained itself, much less to have evolved on an trans-special level.....and is borne from a most seductive and insidious kind of rebellion.
Personally, I find it supremely and predictably arrogant for men of science to scoff at the Genesis account of God taking a rib from Adam to make Eve....while themselves exploiting the fact that the human rib is the only bone in the body to grow back every time when removed carefully. Ribs are routinely removed from humans for various procedures involving bone marrow transplant and bone replacement.
One case in point:
www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v21/i4/ribs.asp How ironic for 'learned men' to scoff at Biblical 'myths' and superstitions (no matter how accurate) while seeking to approach the same level of proficiency as outlined therein (ie. cloning)
Using the bad joke that is 'Evolution' as my platform for a good one.....I submit the following:
Geneticists of the future had become quite adept at divining the obvious signs of a creator within the human genome and decided it was time to challenge God to a 'man making contest'.
God accepted the challenge and had the perfect representative for the job arrive at the agreed upon location the day of the contest.
The illustrious science team, comprised of the best minds in the 'known' universe stepped forward....their leader brimming with supreme confidence.
God's represenative stepped forward, meeting the gaze of the human team leader. He then stated:
"To level the playing field, we will do this in the same fashion as it was first accomplished".
Wasting no time, the lead scientist simply replied, "no problem" and bent down and grabbed a handful of dirt, his smirking gaze remaining fixed upon the face of his unrecognized superior as he did so.
As he stood, he was met with a warm, approbatory look and the simple reply......
"Oh no, first go and find your own dirt."
Moral of the story: Our lives are worth an exhaustive search to ascertain our true nature. Such search taking many roads, widely varied in pattern and length. The simplest and most productive among them....kneeling in secret and continually asking in the name of Yahshua, Jesus Christ, for Him to make himself known to you and set your feet upon the path to true wisdom. Showing your determination by not quitting until He answers will show yourself worthy of His answer, and answer He must! Perhaps sooner than expected.....or even right when one gives up on the enterprise....in either case a determined effort is required, intensity and truthfulness of said effort will count for alot.
He will answer in a way that vastly exceeds one's expectation....testing one's true motivation and resolve....or else what kind of God is he?
Peace,
TS
